About Lucie
Lucie is 21 and lives with me in Maidstone and currently enjoys being a kept woman.
She also enjoys playing the X-box, particularly the ones where you have to carry a large melee weapon and seduce young women....or men. But if you asked her she'd deny it.
Lucie is a very kind hearted young lady with a natural maternal instinct. She has taken an interest in 'boring boy's stuff' like Formula 1 and even has a little knowledge of how cars work and which ones I like the most, for no other reason than because I'm interested in them. (But she still prefers shoes to almost anything). She has a lot to answer for for getting me hooked on Gin & Tonics mind you!
She is very understanding and has the patience of a saint for putting up with my work always being a pain and always has wise words to offer when things become strained.
She has a fiery temper but that is only because of her passion for things to be right and her temper is only equalled by her affection.
One of my favourite things that I love about her is that when I roll over in the morning to give her a cuddle, she has the warmest bum that you could imagine and would give any electric blanket a run for it's money nor does she mind being woken up for a cuddle.
I couldn't hope for a better wife to spend my life with.

John is 27 and lives in Maidstone, Kent, with his girlfriend (see above) and his stuffed cat, Flash.
He spends most of his time jacking cars and trying to get to 100% with his six girlfriends. He also enjoys counter-espionage and has a part-time job as a Hitman.
When John isn't glued to an X-box control; he can be found watching F1, playing his guitar or drinking G&T - con hielo.
Anyone who knows John will know that there is something sinister about him! And they will also know that John is one of the kindest and funniest guys you could hope to meet. His twinkly eyes and sexy grin could make any girl go weak at the knees (and a few men have gone a bit giddy when he winks at them, too!). I feel very honoured to be engaged to such a wonderful and talented man, whom I love far more than my shoes - most of them, anyway!.
His aim in life is own a Mark 1 Capri, and his pin-up girl is Daisy Duke.

How they met
Lucie and I were introduced through her sister Vicky and knew each other for a couple of months before bumping into each other on Christmas Eve - thanks Vicci L - and then they got together New Year's Eve/Day, 2002 (apologies to Laura and Mark's sofa!!!).
The proposal
It didn't take long for us to realise that we were meant to be, and after just a couple of months I told Lucie that I was in love with her - she then made we wait all evening before she told me she felt the same! In the summer of 2003, I started to look for a house, and asked Lucie if she would move in with me.
My sister Vicky, John and I took Mum out to Carluccio's for her birthday November 2003, and on the way back to John's house; while discussing the future, John spoke the immortal words - 'If you do want to marry me, that is'
It took a minute or two to realise that was the proposal!!!
We chose the ring together in Reading - a beautiful pink sapphire! and when we had collected it from the jewellers, John went down on one knee - in front of both friends and strangers in a pub in Reading - to formally ask me to marry him.
Cue much clapping, crying and kisses!
